Work OMG!!!
Right now I'm just eating my breakfast and getting ready to head out to work. I'm one of those stupid people who checks my work e-mail from home. It's not like I deal with major issues from home but I can clear out junk and find out quicker if there is an issue I'm deal with. Anyway...
I just popped on to my e-mail because I've been dealing with HR with an issue about my wage (whether I am entitled to an annual raise) and they had e-mailed back after I left work last night. I re-responded (reply all) with a few questions last night and one of the people that had been cc'd was my director. She responded already ready this morning with this...
"BTW - after our RPh meeting, I wanted to talk to you about how the new position that we are approved for with the Order Entry enhancement and expansion of hours will allow me to shift you to Perm FT (officially)- sound good?"
I'm not sure the timeline on this, but this is exactly what I want! A permanent full time job so that I will for sure have something to come back to after mat leave.
And now that she has expressed her plans for me, when I tell them about the pregnancy, they can't really back out of that because that would be discriminatory, right?
