QOTD Thursday (leftover Halloween candy)
What did you do with your leftover candy, assuming you bought any? Are you planning to eat it, or did you get it out of your house the next day? And how much do you have?
Re: QOTD Thursday (leftover Halloween candy)
We had 23 ToTers (yes, I'm a dork and counted) yet hubby somehow thought it necessary to buy three bags of candy. We have a sh!tton of Kit-Kats, fewer peanut butter cups, and fewer Take 5s. The Take 5s are the only things that are really messing with my head right now.
Want them all! Otherwise, hubby is "disposing of" the others pretty quickly.
The apple cake, s'mores bars, and pumpkin bars in our house, however... NOM NOM NOM.

Chocolate Blog!
Every day, DH and I have said we're going to bring it all into work, but somehow we both "forget" and end up eating it at night. It's so bad--we just can't seem to part with it. And we bought a lot of candy. We had 5 ToTers and we bought two bags of candy, so there's a lot left. That's not even counting the candy that our neighbors gave to us when we brought the kids by. They also don't get lots of ToTers so they tried to pawn their candy off on us.
We usually pick out a few of our favorite pieces to keep and then the rest goes to work. This year we did take about 1/4 of it to DS daycare for his teachers, but the rest went straight to work and is in a cute bucket on my desk. It is already mostly gone, yay, goodbye temptation.
My Food Blog
We had 1 fun sized milky way leftover. DH ate it yesterday. lol
Last year I made bark though. Melted chocolate, chopped everything up and spread it on top then drizzled it with white chocolate. Holy mackerel was it good.
We make the rockin' world go 'round.
We're still eating ours (and what little T collected ToTing). Plus, half my coworkers brought in their leftovers. Which means I'm snacking on candy all day and all night. It's baaaaad.
We only bought two small bags (not counting the Reese's pumpkins that I'm hoping we can save for a while) and gave away a quarter of it, so there's not a whole lot at home. Enough to last another week or two if we space it out. I should really bring some to the office, since we're going to run out of the 18 pounds of chocolate the others brought in by tomorrow.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Leftover what?
(Actually, we didn't buy candy this year b/c we weren't home.)
