Coupon train and a random coupon question
Did we ever set up a coupon train? (Was this discussed on the board or the email thread, I can't remember!!)
Also, random coupon question. If my store doubles coupons, does it do it automatically or do I have to say something? I'm such a coupon novice...
Re: Coupon train and a random coupon question
It should be automatic, but the first time you do it, just watch as they scan the coupons. You should see on the screen that the coupon is doubling. If they only double a certain amount (like 5) and you have more than that, make sure you hand them the ones you want doubled first. make sure you review all the store policies before you go too (max number of coupons doubled, max value doubled, some won't do internet coupons, etc).
Oh, and yes, the train is chugging along, but I think we said we would just add new "boxcars" to the end of the train. Ok, sorry about the train comparison! I couldn't help myself.

Amanda - email me your address, and I'll add you to the end of the train! mrsad08 @ gmail.com.
We are "chugging" (ha, Mary!) along slowly, but once this train is done, I think we should try multiple trains at the same time.

My store will double any coupon up to .50, no limit! But they are starting to crack down on "shelf clearers" we have big signs that say the number you are allowed to buy w/ coupons. Which makes me happy. I hate going to the store for an item thats on sale there not be any left.
What if we started the train from the bottom of the list up, and the middle? This way we'd have several going at the same time. I have a ton of coupons from last week, I'd be willing to start one again and get it in the mail this week.
This is what I was thinking! (Probably because you suggested it!) Do you think we need to wait until the first one is done or just go ahead?

Amber, I'll send you my address!!
Yes, my local store will only double coupons up to $.50 (so that means they'll be $1.00 off??) and only two of the same coupon.
