AW: 36 weeks and...
1 cm dilated! Yeah Carter, keep it going!
When I was pregnant with Jack, I was 1 cm dilated at 36 and 37 weeks, 2 cm at 38 weeks, 3 cm at 39 weeks, and 4 or 4.5 cm at my 40 week appt (on my due date). And I went into labor the night of my due date.
So, at my dr appt yesterday, I asked the dr to check me, just for ha-ha's. Not thinking anything would actually be going on. He said I am definitely 1 cm, headed towards 2 cm. So it looks like this baby is following in his brother's footsteps.
This makes me excited b/c I have had NO contractions or anything - in fact, my RLP has gotten better and I am sleeping better and feeling awesome! So, the more my body dilates without me being in actual labor - the better (and shorter) labor will be.
Yahoo! Sorry, just had to share. I am getting excited that I'm in the home stretch and things are starting to happen

We need a good cat fight around here. Who thought it would be over Katie.
I agree - I hope he stays in there till a couple of days before Thanksgiving - I am due on the 27th, so if he comes just a week or 6 days early, I could be home from the hospital before the holiday. Plus, I want him to stay in there these next couple of weeks so he can fatten up and I can keep dilating - the more cm's dilated I am before the big day, the less time I have to be in pain! ha!
