What radio stations do you have programmed?
I have 12 FM presets in my car, but am having a hard time figuring out what stations to put in! I realize this is dependent on what people like to listen to and where you live, but here's what I have (please don't judge, try to remember I'm scraping the bottom to try to fill these spaces!):
92.5
94.7
97.1
99.5
100.3
101.1
102.7
103.5
106.5 (for when we are in MD visiting my parents, though we get no reception in VA)
107.3
I also have 105.9 from when it was classic rock, which is apparently no longer, and NPR, which I never listen to.
Re: What radio stations do you have programmed?
I like 98.7, but I realize that some people absolutely hate country. It's a very controversial topic. 100.3 is a good choice, I see that you have that one already.
I wish our NPR stations were more exciting. The one they have where DH is from has music that is not classical, similar to what they have in First Listen. Here we only have the station that's all classical music and the station that's all talk radio, and I'm not a fan of either.
I have 12 too but I don't listen to all of them, my main ones are
99.5
101.1
100.3
105.9
98.7
99.9
94.7
95.5
93.9
107.3
I listen to Hot 99.5 when the kids aren't in the car. I love the Kane show in the morning. It's raunchy and trashy but a great way to start the day.
Other than that, I have kids tunes stored in my HDD so we sing things like "You are my sunshine", "Skip to my Lou", fun songs like that...
I don't even know what all we have programmed because I tend to rotate between 4:
90.9 (WETA/classical)
98.7 (WMZQ/country)
103.5 (WTOP/news)
107.3 (pop)
I do keep 97.1 on for when I'm feeling particularly nasty and want to listen to Delilah in the evenings to make fun of some of the callers...but usually that one gets ignored until it starts playing 24/7 holiday music.
