Help me decide
I'm thinking about getting a new phone and strongly considering the iPhone now that it's available with Sprint. However, I have been saving Best Buy gift cards for an iPod touch. If you have one or the other or both, what do you like or not like? Also, is one better than the other?

If you were going to get the iPod touch anyways and now want an iPhone, I would just get the iPhone. The phone will do everything the iPod will and you can make calls. So you can still use it for music and games, but you'll have one less device to worry about.
Doesn't Best Buy offer phones and plans from all the carriers now? I thought I kept seeing commercials about that, so maybe you can still use your GCs to get the phone and do everything at Best Buy. I would check with them and see what they say.

That's exactly what I am thinking about doing.
I can't say for sure about the phones but last time we upgraded we went to a Sprint store and Best Buy and Best Buy actually had the better deals. I'm so jealous that you are getting new phones!

Mel, I've been a Sprint customer for so long that I am apparently a "Premeire Customer", whatever that means. All I know is I can upgrad my phone every 12 months instead of 18-24 months right now. Plus my phone has been acting up the last month or so so I think I am just going to upgrade and be done with it.

sorry - i never drank the cool aid - Droid all the way here... Just got a Samsung Galaxy s2 and it is, well, amazing. and i can even remove the battery and put in my own memory card!!! eeek! (haha sorry ilovers)
but on a side note - yes best buy is the best place to get a cell phone imo. i've gotten my last 2 or 3 there and they also have good ins plans too AND they have a buy back program that is awesome.
