It's baby delivery poll time!

Baby dollfinn will be here in no time!

Some Facts:

- As of today the ticker says Dollfinn is 36 wks 3 days pregnant
- Due date is Nov 27
- Some small progress has already been made (dilation, thinning etc)

So what's your guess ladies? When will lil Dollfinn-ette be joining us?

Re: It's baby delivery poll time!

  • I'm going to go a few days early and say the 25th. I'm really guessing this for Dollfinn's benefit so she can enjoy Thanksgiving before labor.

  • While I think the 7th is the best day in November for a birthday, that's a little early for Baby Dollfinn-ette. I'm going with November 26. I think the leftover turkey and dressing sandwiches will help speed it up.

That's what I was thinking. Like the bacon magic, but even better!

  • I will say Dec 6.  Dollfinn please don't hate me!

  • Dec. 6, nooooo!  haha  At this point, I'm not rushing it.  I'm perfectly content to let her come when she wants.  Doc says he won't let me go a week past my due date.....so there's that.  My mom didn't want to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal this year b/c she just wants to sit and wait on the baby.  (she's crazy!)  I was a little bummed about that, but my step dad vetoed and now I'm getting turkey!  I'll vote for 27th, right on time....with help from the turkey. haha

    Also, "dollfinn-ette" = cute.  Yes

LOL.. Wyatt was born 11 days past his due date...stubborn boy.  Since your Dr. won't let you go a week past your due date then I will say Dec 1 a few days past your due date but not a full week. Smile

Just out of curiousity, why won't he let you go a week past your due date?

  • I think she'll come early.  1 cm already?  I know that's usually NBD, but you never know and a week and half early wont hurt. Wink

  • I asked him at one of my appointments if he was induce-happy.  (Like inducing just for scheduling purposes.)  I was concerned since she's due so close to a holiday.  And he said no.  So I said good b/c I'd just like her to come when she's ready unless there's a problem, or she's "ridiculously overdue."  He said that a week overdue is ridiculous to him.  He didn't elaborate and I didn't ask him to.  I figured that at a week past, I'd probably be ready for her to get out.

Make sense. From experience, at a week past your due date you will be more ready for her to get out!!

  • I am guessing the 24th. Maybe you will get your own butterball this year!
Another old nestie with a new name.
  • Funny that your doc says he won't "let" you go a week past your due date.  What's he going to do, come to your house and hold an IV of pitocin to your uterus if you don't show up for an induction?

My guess is Nov 25 :)

I would have no problem with my doc not letting me go past my due date by one week.
