Thursday Fail
So I got to work this morning and after 15 minutes, realized I had on TWO. DIFFERENT. SHOES. *sigh* I'd post a pic but my work computer won't let me. It's not my most epic work malfunction, but it's up there. Thank goodness I've been lazy about the pair of heels I left in my car last week because I immediately ran outside and changed them. They don't really match the outfit but they at least match each other! And a second thank goodness that I don't have to take Metro to work or else I would be buying new shoes today!

OMG of course!! I've been laughing at myself all morning! I thought we could use a good laugh this morning. The picture is a big hit on FB - LOL!
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to wear a black top underneath a cream-and-black cardigan to work. When I got to work and looked at what I was wearing, I realized my black top was actually navy. It was not a good look.
Oh man...
That makes me feel better about messing up a crockpot dinner this morning. In my sleepy trance, I turned it on high instead of low, and I won't be home for 12 hours. Fortunately, my MIL popped on over to flip it to low so I won't have scorched white chicken chili. But seriously, who messes up the couldn't-be-more-simple crockpot? This girl, apparently.

I also had a shoe mishap today except I didn't catch it until someone pointed it out.
I do bootcamp at 5:30 in the am which means I'm at 4:30, leave at 5. Well I put on 2 different shoes. I wondered why the left one felt different but didn't think much of it until my trainer pointed it out. same brand just a different color (and style). Left shoe was pink, right shoe was blue.
I'm glad I'm not the only one! But you were up much earlier than me so my excuse isn't nearly as solid.
I noticed it when one of the shoes clicked on my way back from the ladies room and the other didn't. I thought, "hmm that's weird" and then looked down. I booked it into my office in shame! Not sure how I missed the "clicking" difference as I walked out of my apartment, or to my car, or from the car to my office....LOL.
I can't wait to turn the clocks back and get a little more light in the AM, since I clearly need it!
