What's Bugging You? Wednesday
Re: What's Bugging You? Wednesday
I'm so busy. I'm so sick of it.
The new Tim Horton's that opened by me. I have been there 3 times and twice had a bad experience. I went in today to talk to the manager about my experience last night and he just blankly stared at me and honestly didn't give a crap. His excuse was it's a new store and the employees are new and that they don't even have the boxes because their manager won't let them order any. Ok well then why when DH called was he told yes they had them and no problem they'd get one ready. I get that it's new and so are the employee's but as a new store shouldn't they be trying to give excellent service.
My DH called and asked to make sure that they had the boxes (10 cup) of hot chocolate was told yes no problem. I go up there to get it, I also order a med caramel hot choc and coffee for DH. I get up to the window wait 10-15 minutes she gives me my 2 drinks tells me to hold and then about 5 minutes later comes back to tell me they don't have any of the boxes. Doesn't offer/suggest anything different. So I order 12 small hot choc. she asks if I am sure I want that many, yes. I have a pack of cub scouts that have been passing out canned food drive bags waiting on me. I pull around and wait for my 12 drinks trying to figure out how in the heck I am going to drive and not spill them. I didn't have time to question or argue with this chick I had been there 30 minutes. When she brings them out to be she has a 7-8 year old boy with her who she tells me is her nephew and good thing he was with her tonight. Then she tells me i'm sorry we didn't have any "cans" left. I took my stuff and left.
I was so mad after leaving that store this morning, the manager didn't even apologize. I went to the store I usually go to talked to that manager. Super nice lady, apologized up and down said she has had so many complaints about that store and it disgusts her. I am waiting on a call back from her after she calls the owner of her store who also owns the other location.
We go through almost the same thing with the new Dunkin by us (Ford rd and Haggerty). They've been open for almost a year and it hasn't improved. The coffee is not the same (always tastes a little on the burnt side), the employees are apathetic, and the manager seems like a micro-manager so he confuses everyone (both employees and customers). We go all the way to Ann Arbor Rd and 275N to get Dunkin.
My ear! I contracted an ear infection a month ago and my new doc wouldn't give me antibiotics (I know, I know; overuse, blah blah blah). It's been tender ever since and I woke up this morning to deafness and searing pain!
FIX MY EAR!
It's not the Rochester Road project, is it? They've been working on that for FOREVER! I don't live around there any more, but I've been going to visit family and stuff and often take Rochester Road. It totally stinks.
No, it's on Crooks Road. But yeah, I am familiar with that Rochester Road project and have gotten stuck in it more than a few times. What is taking so long to finish it?! Sometimes I feel the urge to roll down my window and yell at construction works and ask them what's taking so long.
