i think the seattle nesties had a pretty good day yesterday, watcha think? yay for babypicks, therickson, and my little hercules 
i had my dr appointment yesterday, and the crampy feeling i've been getting? those are contractions...not braxton hix. this terrifies me, but the dr didn't seem worried AT ALL..so i'll just keep chugging along my way....
not a lot going on today, but it's friday-eve! yay! have a great thursday!

Good morning. I keep thinking that it's a different day of the week. I was bummed this morning when I realized it was Thursday and I have to go to work today AND tomorrow.
I teach a class today and have to prep for a big meeting tomorrow. I'm gone next Mon-Wed for a conference so I'm looking forward to that.

Good morning! I've got a long day ahead but I'm taking tomorrow off for a quick trip to visit some family in eastern WA this weekend. Not exactly a vacation, but more fun than being at work. Hopefully today goes by quick. My aunt is traveling with us and she is coming over tonight to crash at our house so we can get a super early start. It will be fun to hang out with her, we've always been really close.

Hooray for Friday eve! I've got a busy day ahead of me so I probably won't be on much today. I'll be at a class tomorrow and then flying out to a conference next Monday and return on Wednesday. This will be interesting to see how H does at home by himself.
I bought my ticket to go watch Twilight on the 19th with a couple friends. Woohoo for vampires who sparkle in the sun & a droolworthy werewolf!!

It's my Friday and I'm soo happy! I'm also happy with the over time I've been getting because there's nothing like extra money that you weren't 'expecting'! I have to be into work a little earlier this morning becuase i have weekly training webinars.. they are jokes, i'm not learning anything new!
Anyway, Jenn- please keep that baby in, and if it means relaxing, do that!
Good morning! Babysitting again today. I'm supposed to the rest of the photos of Tman today. I hope they are good. I'm nervous.
Tomorrow is my husband's birthday. I can't decide if I should bake him a cake or not. I baked pumpkin bread yesterday at his request and that will last for a while. I hate to have two baked treats in the house - I'll be tempted to chow down.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

Baby is grounded has has to stay in his/her womb for at least another 12 weeks! Glad the doctor didn't seem worried, though!!
My next appt is this afternoon, and I get the GD test. Soooo, I am eating better today. :P No more leftover Halloween candy until after the GD test, lol! I also have a huge pile of L&D questions to ask the OB; I suspect the appointment's going to run long. :P Oh, well; not my problem.

I've been in Seattle since 5:30am today. DH is currently in surgery, and I'm a little freaked out. I didn't realize until this morning that he's actually having three ligaments replaced in his knee, and they're drilling into all three bones in his leg to do it.
I just keep telling myself that DH is young and healthy, and he's in good hands. His surgeon is one of the doctors that the Seahawks players use, so that's got to count for something, right?

guys! I found nude heels! I went shopping last night with a friend and you know that rule: you always find the thing you aren't looking for. Anyway, they're Jessica Simpson and when I put them on, my friend was like "whoa, those actually look good with your skin" - she's been on several shoe adventures with me in the hunt to find some and all of them have looked off. So I got them! And I had a $20 off coupon (DSW) so, score! I don't remember the name, but they're basically like this (a lighter color though that matches my skin):
(I think the toe is a little more round than I originally wanted, but the color matches so well that it's ok)
And then I went to Nordstrom because I had a bunch of make-up things I've been compiling so I could spend $100, get the debit card and get $20 back!

happy thursday! I have a presentation at work of the latest stuff I'm working on, so hopefully it goes well. I've been having manager issues at work, so I really need to nail everything so it's clear that it's a manager issue, and not a my performance issue.
Traffic sucked today, I'm still not at work. and the guy sitting next to me on our bus doused himself in awful smelling cologne and I keep coughing. Ugh. So freaking annoying.
I get my MRI results back tomorrow. I'm seriously hoping that everything's healing properly, and the reason I still have pain is just a lingering effect from wearing the boot for 5 weeks. I'm so done with this stupid boot.
I gained 9 pounds since my wedding day, some of it just bloat and stuff from the honeymoon and eating/drinking like crazy afterwards, some of it from not being able to move around at all because of the stupid foot. I started reigning in my carbs again and already dropped 3 of the 9 which is promising. I'd really like to get under 150, so I can stabilize.
Jennlin.. what's your due date. I can't seem to remember, which is the story of my life these days lol
Also I hope for you that LO stays put longer!!
DH is "sick" ugh so the last few nights he's been tossing and turning more than usual, which means I get less sleep. So thankfully today I didn't need the car so I could sleep in! Now I need to get some sewing done!

thanks everyone for the positive thoughts...i'm not *too* scared, because it only about 3 times total so far, and she said that i shouldn't worry...it's just scary to think about, you know? i'm going to be a mother, holy crap.

Today is my Friday!
Landed an in person interview tomorrow! It's a follow up to my phone interview.
We're going to Tulalip tomorrow night for DH's work event. I really hope to be celebrating!
Jenn -- you probably already know this, but if not... on TB when people have experienced this the advice is always to rest and drink lots more water, and it sounds like it's generally helpful.
Avila -- good luck to your H! Surgery is nerve-wracking regardless, and if something about it is surprising, it's even worse.

yup, i'm familiar with it..and the dr rec it, too. i've already been guzzling the water down (i drink about 12 glasses a day right now), but i upped it even more when i felt the uncomfortableness. hopefully i don't get anymore!

My life is boring right now, so here's a Duck Joke for the day:
Chip Kelly passes away and is met in heaven by God himself. Upon speaking with Chip, God shows him around heaven and eventually leads Chip to his new home, a humble abode painted yellow with green trim and with a small UO flag over the door.
Feeling special, Chip begins to smile humbly, but not before looking up the road to a marble mansion on the hill.
Huge purple and gold flags decorate the brick laid driveway leading up to the golden gates and enormous trees garner the landscape draped with UW banners. Hanging over the European doors is a massive UW flag hanging from a golden flag pole.

Traffic was SO horrible today. Y'know, ever since that day, I crane my neck whenever we stop by the caphill stops to see if you get on. Haha.

As for me, I can't wait until the weekend. It's been a series of late nights and the only saving grace has been my parents are visiting us and my mom has dinner waiting when we walk through the door. It's been nice.
And I went on pre-natal vitamins last week, just to 'get ready' so to speak.
Good evening! I just got home from work. DH is playing WoW and we ordered pizza. I'm so hungry hungry hippos.
Today seemed long and I wasn't feeling very productive. Glad that it's over but I am not looking forward for the weekend. I went crazy for a minute and agreed to take someone's Sat closing and all day Sun shifts. I only have tomorrow off. Then next Friday would be my next day off.
