What are you getting LO for Christmas?
Re: Toddler Mommas
These are some of my ideas so far:
Tools, step stool, golf set, bath toys (like the foam letters), giant coloring pad and crayons
ETA: and the usuals like books and pj's

My aunt has a lot of the track from her kids.
ETA: This will be her only gift since it is expensive. If we decide to go with it.
My Blog Picture A Day Blog
She's getting the current Disney movie releases, since they're only out for a limited time. We've been trying to collect them for her. My mom got her Tangled, my MIL got her Lion King. (Last year, she got Beauty and the Beast and Toy Story 3).
We also want to get her some big building blocks like this.
She's really into "choo-choo"s right now (so hilariously cute), so if that stage seems to stick around for a while, we'll probably get her some Thomas stuff.
Aside from that, I was hoping that there would be more recs. I took a look at the "most played with toys" list from babycheapskate, but wasn't impressed with the one for this age range. Seemed redundant from the 6-12mo list, and if I remember correctly, she already has most of the stuff that was on there.

Last year Alex got a pop up play tent, Little People sets, baby dolls and some other stuff I can't remember now.
This year we're giving her the pop up play tent again (she got a smaller version from her cousin also and the cousin wanted to open that one right up, so we just tucked ours aside. It's still unopened, so she'll get it again). I also got her a necklace from Lia Sophia, coloring books, and reading books. I want to get her a game, I was thinking Super Why, but I'm not so sure now. On her list for others' to look through, are dress up clothes, movies, more books and maybe some alphabet learning stuff. I'm at a loss for great ideas since the kid lacks nothing.
ETA: I think she's also getting a new bed for Christmas. It's not supposed to be for Christmas really, but at the rate H is working on it, it very well may be that long before it's done.
These are the ideas I wrote down:
Fisher Price Little People Zoo
Fisher Price Little People Nativity Set (if I can find it.)
2011 Holiday Barbie, and some sort of Barbie organizer.
A baby doll crib
A Cabbage Patch Kid that's meant to go in the tub
Bath Toys
The Lion King dvd
A Big Wheel
Tangled Tower table & chairs set
Toy Story Mania game
Buzz Lightyear plush
Toy Story play set
Art supplies and hopefully some kind of small portable art desk
Vtech V-Reader or Leapfrog LeapPad
Better quality play food and kitchen than we currently have
A few things Taryn's getting:
Chuggington Interactive Train set and accessories
a doll house and acccessories
one of those "toddler-proof" digital cameras
Fisher Price cash register (she loves pretending she's at the store)
So far, we have just been getting Jack one gift for special occasions (bday, xmas). He gets so many gifts from other people that we don't want to overload him.
1st bday we got him a ball pit.
1st Christmas we got him a sled.
2nd bday we got him an easel.
For this Christmas, we plan to get him either a play kitchen or a play tool bench. And then I think this year we will start giving him a stocking with some smaller things in it, like DVD's, books, small toys (he is OBSESSED with trains right now), etc.

Dad thinks Zac will not survive without this in his life...
At $300 mommy thinks not.
I haven't even given Zac's Christmas list a single thought at this point.

Twins: (I guess they are toddlers now? lol) Blocks, baby dolls, clothes. We aren't getting them a ton cause we have so much stuff from Abby
Abby: Barbies, clothes, coloring books, crayons, play food for her kitchen, some Leap Frog stuff, PBK anywhere chair, shoes, etc.
Cut the Crap - Weight loss journey of a Few Fat Chicks
I want to get her a play kitchen and play food. Space is our big obstacle though (babies may need lots of 'stuff' but toddlers need BIG stuff and I feel like it's worse now than when we had the PNP and the swing and, and, and...). Anyway...
Also have these Montessori/Practical Skills boards on her Amazon list. Has something like it at school. There is a latches one too.
A book I know she loves.
Saw this little teapot thing, not sure though. Anyone have this?
As far as ideas of others - we recently got her a little pop-up tent /tunnel thing which she is obsessed with. I also got her a cheapy nothing baby doll that she loves and always wants to carry around. She's also really big into "sorting" - putting things in one container, taking out, putting elsewhere, etc. If that helps anyone....
Yes, Nora got that last Christmas! She started playing with it around 6 months and loves it. It's super cute, the sounds and songs are fun. it's on the list of "most played with toys."
