Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Screw You Power Company..UPDATE
The power company has a strict deadline for themselves that everyone will have power back by 11:59pm Sunday night.
I just logged on to my account, and they gave an estimate of when my location (it showed my address) would have power restored.
11:45 pm Sunday night. 
They couldn't just put 11:59 pm to make it look like they didn't have a hard ball answer? This makes it look like they really decided that our street was at the very end of the list on priorities. I know our location isn't that important, and we are so very lucky to have my parents' house to stay, but come on. An 11:45pm estimate is just salt on an open wound.
I'm hoping it's just an estimate, and we really get it back earlier.
I'm seriously losing my mind. I want to go home, but it's just too cold. I want to sleep in my own bed.
please just let me cry for a second...I already cried this morning on the way to work...

Holy crap - how long has it been out now?? You east coast folks have had terrible weather/power issues!

we're on day 6 now.
I guess the big issue is that our power company didn't pay the invoices of the companies that they contracted for the hurricane. Sooo outside companies from other states refused to be on call and come and help.
I'm gonna go pour myself some wine.

DH just got back to my parents house, and he said we have power!!!!
However, we literally left everything from our Halloween party where it was, so we're not going back until tomorrow.
