Amid all the packing decisions I have to make, it's a relief to have just made a blanket policy that I am not taking any pants with me that are a wee bit tight right now. I will not spend my 1 year living in France worrying about whether my favorite skinny jeans will still fit if I eat the pan au chocolat calling out my name. In fact, I think I should just make a budget now to buy new pants once I have been living there for 3 or 4 months.
And for some "real" news: househunting trip to Paris is in just 10 days! Now, if only real-estate brokers would let us make real appointments instead of saying "call us when you arrive."
ETA: Pain au chocolat. There I went breaking my "no fra?ol" rule already!
Re: French food
I FB "like" this!
I'm glad the closest bakers is two villages over from ours otherwise I think DD, the pup and I would have our morning walk to get a POC or some other yummy every day!
This. The problem is when you live around great bread for 8 years and counting... Not that I speak from personal experience, of course.
