X Factor (somewhat) spoilers
So what did everyone think of last night's performances?
Intensity - They're not bad singers; I just think there are WAY too many members in the band to follow, and that's the only thing about them I don't like.
Drew & Rachel - Normally not a big Drew fan but I think she definitely did a LOT better than Rachel this week. But Rachel is so gosh darn cute I just want to give her a big hug every time I see her.
Astro - He's such a doll and I liked his performance.
LeRoy and Josh - Two of my favorite performances last night
Melanie and Stacy - I can see one of these two winning the whole nine yards. I am gonna go with Melanie on that bet but they will both go far. Two amazing voices, for sure!!
Marcus & Chris - I've liked both of them since day one, but wasn't all that impressed last night.

I've been following through YouTube and TV Line, so last night was the first time I watched an actual show.
Drew and Astro were the only ones I liked. I could listen to Drew sing all day long. I love her voice. I usually love Josh, but his performance was just boring and off somehow. I also hate the song he did, so maybe I'm biased on that.
Every performance could dial the cheese factor down by four or five notches, but especially the all-girl group.
I like the old guy, but his performance was awful. Surely they can find a better song for him than Lonestar.
What did Paula say about the little girl's (Rachel?) song picks? I fast-forwarded to Simon and he said something about song pick. I hope it was something about picking something a little more mature. I can't take her serious with all these light, fluffy, 'I'm cute and I sing!' pieces.
I mute Nicole like I mute Mary.
Rachel is annoying. I know she is 13, and can sing waaaayyyyyy better than most, but....
It seems like her "cuteness" and "politeness" and "charm" are forced. I was a teacher, and she would have driven me nuts.
I wasn't really impressed last night.
I thought Nicole chose terrible songs for most of her group and screwed them over by giving them ones that didn't suit their style or voice. I really like LeRoy but she chose a country song for him?? He's not a country singer. I still love Josh/burrito guy, although I didn't think that was the best song for him either.
Rachel is annoying to me and I don't think she sings as well as some of the others.
Drew is great, but I thought the arrangement of the song was weird and didn't work.
Lakoda Rain's performance was awkward and cheesy.
Melanie is still my favorite. She could sing anything and make it sound beautiful.
I wish Astro or Chris Rene would leave.
I agree with the PP that there's too much going on (dancers, lights, etc.) for it to be a singing competition.
And why aren't they choosing their own songs at this point? Are the judges going to continue choosing songs for them? It seems like some of them don't have a fair chance and it's just a competition between the judges.
Funny you should mention that.... has anyone discussed this yet? Why All the hate for Stacy Francis ?

I roll my eyes her "sob story" because she was decked out in nice clothes and stilettos with her nails done and pushing a nice stroller (at her original audition). It just didn't say "struggling single mom barely making it" to me.
don't like 'em. they harmonize well together and all, but I just don't like 'em. And I will never like any version of Landslide except for the one by Smashing Pumpkins. I hate the Dixie Chicks, I don't care for the original Fleetwood Mac one and I sure as hell didn't pay much attention to Lakoda Rain.
