Can I get some juju for my mom please?

Hi ladies. Sorry I've been MIA this week. I've been putting in extra hours at work so I could take off early today.

As for the juju, my mom has to find a new neurologist for her MS (no fault of her own) and this involves a second, and third, and fourth opinion potentially. MS is extremely hard to diagnose and my mom's case isn't textbook. While we weren't happy about the MS diagnosis, we were happy to have an answer to all the pain and other problems she'd been experiencing so having to go through this process all over again and possibly get different answers from several different doctors is terrifying to my mom. She just wants to get better.

I'm going to her first new appointment with her today so can you guys please keep her in your thoughts that it goes smoothly? I honestly don't know how much more she can take...

    So they have to rediagnose her because of a crap situation with her old neurologist? That really sucks.

    Pretty much. It's highly unlikely that another neurologist will just accept her previous diagnosis and start treating her. She has all her records but it's still a long shot. We want an accurate diagnosis, so I understand but it's still really frustrating for her to have to go back to the beginning. She is concerned that they'll dismiss MS as a possibility without really considering it and just send her to a pain management doctor again. She doesn't want to be on narcotics for the rest of her life.

    Lots of juju haeaded your way. I can only imagine how frustrating this must be. Your mom sounds like a strong woman and she's very lucky to have such a wonderful daughter.
