Re: Thankful Thursday
I'm thankful for a good friend I've made in this area, even though it looks like she'll be moving away at the end of this year.
I'm thankful for after-Halloween clearances (hello, $10 costume I'll wear next year!)
I'm thankful for our wonderful condo and a great landlord. I'm also thankful we don't have to deal much with the crazy lady in the condo office.
Planning Bio
i am thankful that it's actually cheaper to take amtrak than fly to see my fam at christmas. 7 hours each way won't be super fun but not having to deal with the airport at the holidays is worth it.
because we're taking the train, there are fewer luggage restrictions and thus i am thankful we can have a little wine time en route
I am thankful for a move in date for our new place, movers who were still available (11 days away!) and a fun holiday to share our new place with friends.
I am also thankful to see good friends, especially when they make the extra effort to come a thousand miles and visit!

My new iPhone! I swear I'll stop talking about it soon
I'm grateful for the long weekend next weekend--DH and I are going to hit the outlets on Friday while DS is in daycare!
I'm grateful for the new soup place near our house, which makes the tastiest (vegan, who knew) soup that's perfect for nights when we don't feel like cooking.
As for best . . . I'm grateful for DH, who always picks up my slack, and DS who almost always gives me kisses when I ask (open-mouth, no less).
And I'm grateful that my brother is in a happy, steady relationship with a girl I'd love to have as a SIL--hoping the engagement happens SOON.
AND, I'm grateful for technology. My BFF lives in CA and while we aren't big phone people (usually we just gchat), we've been using Facetime to do video chatting lately and it's been really nice to "talk" like that.

- A good catch up lunch with a friend and happy hour tonight!
- I had a few cool things to do at work today.
- Alll new Thursday tv! This might be the one time I leave happy hour before anyone else.
-Tomorrow is my day off!
-DH is coming around to the idea of remodeling our gross bathroom, since it's become apparent that we won't be moving this year (not thankful for that, but whatevs)
-OH! I don't have to work Fridays for the rest of the month! Thanks to compressed days and holidays. WOOOOOHOOOO!
