Since things always slow down in the afternoons, a little question to liven things up:
What would you do with an extra $100? $1,000?
You may not answer anything about saving or bills or debt - it has to be something at least slightly irresponsible. Go!
Re: Afternoon Poll
$100 - Probably a facial and massage.
$1,000 - Hair extensions
With All the Trimmings
Just do it!
$100 - Probably find a Clarisonic online using a coupon code.
$1000 - Finish the kitchen now instead of early next year.

Natural Cycle (8/7/13)- BFP! Beta #1 (9/10/13): 509 Progesterone: 18.64 Beta #2 (9/12/13): 1118
$100 - new shoes. I love shoes
$1,000 - a new bed. I really want a king. Can you even get a good bed for that anymore? If I couldn't get a mattress for that, then I'd buy an awesome upholstered headboard - king-size - and just stick my queen-size bed up against it and pretend like it fit, ha.
$100 would go to new fall clothes
$1000 - Angie, I would want a new King bed too! If not that, then maybe an iPad
Bio Good Times
$100- new shoes
$1000- I would either change B&B's next week to a more expensive one that I want to stay at or add on a few more days to our trip. Or just take a whole other trip at Christmas.
$100 - Massage and pedi
$1000 - Fall/Winter clothes, Tall riding boots and our wedding album
$100- I would have my hair colored again. I got it done on the 20th before Vegas and I am just not thrilled with the color.
$1000- New clothes and shoes/boots. My work winter wardrobe is embarrassing. Or I would go on vacation. 9 times out of 10 when there is extra money, we use it to travel.
$100 - new clothes for sure. Both DH and I are in desperate need of a new wardrobe.
$1,000 - a new gun. I don't necessarily need one. But you can never have too many of them
$100 - a few little things, like a new clarisonic brush, I need a foundation brush. It adds up fast.
$1000 - Christmas presents! My grandma wants a Kindle (go grandma!) and DH's mom really wants a new TV. She's had such a hard year. She deserves a new TV.
I like you
haha
some people like em - other people hate em.
I love em
With $100, I'd go buy that Coach iPad case I saw the other day. Serious drool.
With $1000, I'd upgrade the second half of our trip next week back to the Polynesian or one of the other more expensive resorts. If they're too full, then our suitcases will be very full coming back on the 11/15!
$100- Shellac nails
I've stopped biting my nails would love to treat myself. Maybe go to a few of my favorite thrift stores and see what I could find.
$1,000- iPad, a new camera, or a weekend getaway with Matt.
$100 -- splurge and go to a fancy salon to get my highlights re-done. They suck right now, but I don't want to pay to get them done again.
$1000 -- hire an interior decorator to give me ideas of what to do with the new house. The last time I decorated a room, I was 13. I painted the walls pink and got those beaded curtains for every closet/doorway. That still sounds okay to me, but H would live in the garage before he'd live in an all-pink house.
I'm seriously tempted to at least get acrylics put back on. I haven't had a manicure since August so I've been biting my nails for a few weeks. I won't bite them if they're painted.
