Prison Break Season Three
Okay so I'm caught up to season three (I had posted how much I LOVED this show after discovering it on Netflix a few weeks ago).
Seriously? A prison without any guards? Where a grave digger comes and collects dead bodies all day and someone else comes and drops off food? Also there's cases of liquor and a cell phone?
Has there ever been a prison like this in the history or ever?
I feel like I'm only watching it now to see where they go with it but it's getting worse and worse.

I don't know a lot about Carandiru though, so I couldn't say how much is or is not exaggerated.
Agreed. The foreign prison that they are sent to is based off of several prison systems in third world countries. I only know this because I spent a semester studying prison systems. There are a lot similarities but there are also some wildly entertaining ideas.
The show went downhill after Season 2 in my opinion. When I was watching (when it was on) they did an interview with some of the writers and one of them had said he was so surprised that the show was so popular, they weren't expecting to make it past the first few episodes much less a season. If you notice in Season 1 there are a couple of spots where the show could have ended. The season finale even ends nicely. The writer went on to say that they started to throw storylines together to make it work. It thought it was interesting.
