DH stands for Doofus Husband
My DH just called and asked me when I had a "good guesstimate" when this baby may come so he can schedule a work trip for a few days around it. Seriously?
So I told him Dec. 30 at 6:19 pm after 15 and a half hours of labor. After I gave him such specifics I think he realized how ridiculous his request sounded.

Knowing mine, he will probably not roll back into the US until like 39 hours after I call and say "Hey, I'm in labor, why don't you leave India now!?!?!"

DH kept his calender clear a couple of weeks before and after LO's due date, but we obviously didn't anticipate her coming 6 weeks early, so even when she came home from the hospital 16 days after she was born he only got "conditional" time off - he kept the appointments he had already made but didn't work otherwise. There is simply no way to know other than saying the baby will definitely be here by a month after the due date!!
I love this man with my whole heart but he is definitely a ditzy dude sometimes.
I texted him to come home and ask the baby when he thinks he'll be ready to come out. First time dads are funny.
