America Eats Tavern Rec
I went to an event at the American Eats Tavern last night and it was good! I had seen some mixed reviews but my meal was delicious last night. Since it was an event we had a set menu but had the hush puppies, buffalo wings (boneless with a delicious sauce), vermicelli (like mac and cheese), shrimp jambalaya, oysters and a really delicious key lime pie-like dessert.
They are going to be open longer than they had planned. I want to go again!

I totally meant to post a rave as well. We went on Sunday night with some friends. Some of the things on the table were the fried chicken, oysters, clam chowder with cod, gazpacho, Moscow Mule (drink), key lime pie, cheesecake, cobb salad, pineapple upside down cake, and crabcakes (not in that order!). EVERYTHING was delicious!
Happy to hear it may be around longer than January!
We are going back for brunch!
