Vampire Diaries 11/3 ~Possible Spoilers!~
I really thought Elena and Damon were going to kiss tonight at the end of the episode in bed!!
Bad Stephen is getting annoying. I don't want him to just come back after Klaus is taken care of to Elena with her arms wide open for him. He has been terrible to everyone, compelled or not. He proved tonight that he can overcome the compelling, so I'm just getting sick of him... unless he has been working this Klaus thing from another angle that hasn't been reveled yet. I wonder if he is just acting like Klaus is compelling him so that he can stay on his good side and keep Elena safe. He started building a tolerance to human blood awhile ago so maybe he is still himself, but he's keeping the Klaus-alliance up no matter what to keep people safe until he's killed.

I loved all the history with the originals this week but most of it I had guessed already. They had me doubting myself on who the original witch was, but it turned out I was right. A witch that isn't black, I didn't know this show had it in them, lol! I wish we had gotten to know more of the original siblings though

LOL, yeah, what is up with that?! I was thinking about that when they introduced that one witch that was trying to locate the necklace when Rebecca was released from her coffin.
I have no idea how you guessed all that history with the originals because I was surprised by it all, but it was an amazing episode. This show always keeps me on the edge of my seat.
I'm a huge Stefan fan (mostly because I lust after Paul), but I agree, the bad Stefan thing is getting kind of annoying.

Poor Rebecca, my heart broke for her. I almost cried when she broke down. Damn Klaus, he is disgusting. It was nice to finally see him scared of something though.
Elena and Damon are KILLING me!!! I started to cry when she said Stefan's love for her wouldn't save him, but his love for his brother would. I'm so glad she realizes that. Now maybe she'll forget Stefan and his assiness and move to hotter, better men... namely Damon.
On one hand, no VD until Jan is a GREAT thing because I have so much work to do. On the other hand, it's the only thing I look forward too on Thursday after having 5 hours of back-to-back classes.
Anyways,
I enjoyed the originals story. I had guessed most of it but it was nice to see it laid out. I wish Elijah would come back. I can't wait for next week!!!
Oh, and I really wanted to give Rebekah a hug at the end. Poor girl.
On a side note: I love the names in this show.

Funny how Elena doesn't even ask Damon to go home...she lets him sleep in her bed. I guess she likes feeling safe, but there has to be more to her feelings. I hate that he compelled her to forget about how he gushed his feelings to her when he thought he was dying last season.
Michael is a badass, I was surprised to hear he was their father, and his hatred for Klaus and Klaus being terrified of him all makes since, knowing momma witch got it on with a werewolf. I wonder when Katherine will waltz back into the picture, I doubt she is dead.
How old are they supposed to be, 1,000? How long before the new world was discovered were they living where "mystic falls, virginia" is now?

Honestly - I love Damon. I would choose him over Stefan in a heartbeat and usually the "almost kiss" scenes between him and Elena are hot. But last night it seemed so brother/sister and not "my soul burns for you with the heat of 100 suns." No romantic chemistry at all. Especially the bed scene. I don't crawl into bed with my brother, but if I did I would imagine it would have the same feeling, And it seems like the whole cast is living with each other which definitely plays into the familial vibe as opposed to the romantic.
It did seem that way to me.
But, on (another) side note, Nina Dobrev (Elena) and Ian Somerhalder (Damon) are dating IRL.
