I would ask yet again after 2 weeks. If you still feel you are getting jerked around, then I think you should update your resume, and put it out there into the mainstream. I read an article about companies hiring this time of year, sometimes more aggressively. It is worth a shot to find employment with a company that recognizes your talents and is willing to pay you what you are worth.
Is there something happening within your company that could be holding this up? With the end of the year approaching, there is alot of activity within alot of businesses, and that may be why things are going slower than you would like.

I didn't know that about this being a good time of year to find jobs.
Well, like most companies nowadays the economy is a big issue and budgets have been slashed. But our department is doing well, so it's frustrating.
I've also gotten an extra degree and a professional cert in the last year so I'm even MORE underpaid than I should be.
I think I'll start pounding the pavement and see what's happening in my industry.
