What is your favorite beauty product? I can't live without MAC Studio Finish foundation. Definitely can't leave the house without it.
What/where is your favorite day trip in the area? We take KJ out to John Downs Park to swim at the dog beach in Pasadena any nice day we can during the summer. Sans pup, we love to go out to Annapolis.Where would you love to go someday? Anyplace on the MediterraneanWould you rather cook or eat out? Generally I prefer to eat out, not because I don't like to cook, but because I like to enjoy spending time with whoever I'm with.
What would you do if you won the lottery? I'd definitely buy a big enough beach house that I could have all of our family there anytime we want. If the winnings were huge, I'd divvy it up with family and friends so we could have fun together whenever we wanted.
What is your favorite holiday, and what traditions make it special? Christmas, but not because I love Christmas, but because it is the only time that I get to see my entire side of the family all at once. I actually find Christmas a little overdone and stressful, but love to wake up at my mom's house and hang around in my jammies drinking coffee with my sister, hanging out with my nieces, nephew, etc.

What would you do if you won the lottery? If I won the big bucks, like $100+ million, I'd probably quit my job and buy several houses in different parts of the country and move between them, depending on the season.

What is your favorite beauty product? Probably my Bare Minerals foundation. It covers and evens out my skin tone so well! But Clarisonic Mia is up there too--it might be a tie!
What/where is your favorite day trip in the area? A short trip is up to Sugarloaf, but otherwise probably out to the Shenandoahs.
Where would you love to go someday? Ireland and Amsterdam.
Would you rather cook or eat out? Depends on the day. I really love to cook, and if I have the time I love to find recipes, plan meals, and cook. But there are a lot of nights I'd rather just have someone make me something.
What would you do if you won the lottery? Oh, I have so many plans! We would sell our house SO FAST (we're underwater now but obviously that wouldn't matter), get a bigger place, and get pg. TMI? Pay off all our student loans, set up trusts for our kids and retirement, and then depending on how much we won, probably quit my job and travel. If I won a LOT a lot, we would pay off our parents' mortgages etc., and I've promised my brother a Ferrari.
What is your favorite holiday, and what traditions make it special? Definitely Christmas. We like to watch It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve, open presents with my brother and my parents on Christmas Day, and then have dinner with my mom's family that night. I think I just love the general sentiment, the decorations, the presents (ahem) and that my birthday is right after so it's a nice long week of family and celebrations. And now it's fun that DS is here to see him *so excited* about his presents, even when he has no real concept of Christmas/Santa.

What is your favorite beauty product? I'm loving Covergirl natureluxe lip gloss right now- perfect subtle hint of color.
What/where is your favorite day trip in the area? Don't know- we don't have a car, so we haven't done day trips outside of the metro area.
Where would you love to go someday? Italy, specifically Sicily.
Would you rather cook or eat out? Usually cook- I like to know exactly what I'm eating and control my ingredients (I realize that's sounds psycho).
What would you do if you won the lottery? Absolute first thing I'd do is pay off our student loan debt. Then, depending on the amount, I'd donate to our church and charity, buy a house, pay off my parents' home equity loan for them, invest some, and travel.
What is your favorite holiday, and what traditions make it special? It's a tie between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The food (same menus each year) and family make them special.

What is your favorite beauty product? My flat iron.
What/where is your favorite day trip in the area? Loudon Co. wineries (or any wineries, really, but those are the ones we go to).
Where would you love to go someday? I've already crossed my top two off the list (Galapagos and New Zealand). Next up would be Patagonia or a safari, but I don't think we'll be doing either soon.
Would you rather cook or eat out? Eat out, if we could afford it. I do enjoy cooking though, just not every night.
What would you do if you won the lottery? Quit my job and spend a year traveling around the world. Help out my sister and some of my cousins with mortgage/education expenses. Set aside some money for my nieces and nephew.
What is your favorite holiday, and what traditions make it special? July 4th. Not that I am patriotic, but we've lately made a tradition of spending all day hanging out with friends and family at the beach, basically just lounging around and doing nothing. Our Christmas and Thanksgiving traditions have changed quite a bit since I was a kid, and aren't nearly as enjoyable.

What is your favorite holiday, and what traditions make it special? Christmas, my mom always makes the same dinner (shrimp scampi), we listen to Christmas music and drive around looking at lights. We also watch a Christmas movie (usually Christmas Vacation).

I would probably quit my job but continue teaching flute lessons. I would have a large enough house to foster rescue cats until they get adopted.

We talked about this earlier this week. Buy houses/apartments in DC and NYC and then travel/eat our way through Europe. Come home, hire a personal trainer to get us back in shape.
