Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

First, when out and about, remember to buy batteries for your smoke detectors (if needed). We change clocks this weekend, and that's the best time to test the detectors and change batteries.
Second, do you have a home fire extinguisher? Where do you keep it? Anyone know how long they're good for? We got one at our wedding shower 6 years ago, and I wonder about it. We keep it under our kitchen sink.

Good reminder on the batteries.
We do have a fire extinguisher and it is also under the kitchen sink. I think we got it shortly after we moved into our house, which was five years ago. I have no idea how long it's good for.
And, just out of curiosity, did you register for a fire extinguisher?
