Best Thanksgiving Recipes?
Hi Ladies! Does anyone have delicious thanksgiving recipes that you'd be willing to share? I'm going to cheat on the turkey & order it pre-made from Williams Sonoma (shh), and two of my aunts are handling the pies, so I'd *really* love appetizer & side dish recipes... hoping to practice a bit this weekend so I'll be in good shape for hosting on the 24th!! Thanks so much in advance
Re: Best Thanksgiving Recipes?
i am not a stuffing/dressing person but i made this last year and had to try it, really good. DH & my fam loved it! we skipped the apples to keep it savory.

these might be my favorite mashed potatoes (you make them the night before which makes life a lot easier!). my aunt has a similar recipe and i like these even more (shhh!)

I know I post this every year.... but, this is my favorite cranberry sauce:

Cranberry Sauce
This is the best, most delicious sweet potato recipe.
Homemade cranberry sauce is so good.
As to the rest, I fiddle around every year and try new recipes. Until the kids are old enough to start associating traditional foods, I figure I have room to perfect my favorites.
I always have collard greens (tyler florenece's recipe) on t day.
last year I made this cauliflower, breadcrumb & pinenuts thing that was so amazing:
