I can't leave work till my 4-5pm meeting with my manager, so I'm procrastinating until then.
I ate a huge lunch at a Thai place today, and totally bloated up. So now I'm sitting at my desk with unbuttoned pants

Seriously. I only brought snacky things to eat today and I am STARVING!
haha. I also can't work off my massive plate of Thai noodles, blurrrgggg.
I totally forgot we are going out to dinner tonight too or I would have eaten a lot lighter. Well, just gives me more to work off when I go back to running!
I really miss running
I'm working out with my trainer tomorrow for the first time since the injury (and the wedding). The plan is for him to bring me weights to do, haha.
I would almost think you were pregnant... j/k.. haha but that was the first thought that crossed my mind.

ok, since we're talking about food...
I made cupcakes to bring to work, just for fun. I used to always do boxed cupcakes with canned frosting and loved it - I still had some and it's so quick and easy I made them last night. I just ate one... I'm a spoiled brat now because I like the scratch cupcakes I've made better :-/ I never thought I would say that! And I hate it also because 'real' cupcakes really are more expensive and labor intensive. Darn it! I should never have tried making real ones.

here's my favorite trick for boxed cupcakes.
add pudding mix to regular boxed cake mix. it makes the cupcakes super moist and they taste homemade
I always do real frosting though, I can't stand the fake stuff.
I have to go to H's squadron function tonight and it's going to be really hard not to punch a girl that will be there, in the face. I want to so badly, and logically I recognize that that would make me the little, immature, uneducated person, but I hate that dumb b!tch so hard.
*sigh* .
I won't.. but I can day dream about it.
good tip!

Since we're talking about food/diets, here's my flamefree tidbit:
DH is looking for a new job. I'm nervous because at his current job he gets a fair amount of exercise, and in the two years he's worked there he's lost a lot of weight (started around 245 lbs and is now in the 190's!). So if whatever becomes his new job isn't as labor intensive, I'm afraid he'll pack back on the weight he lost. I'd still love him if he gains the weight back, but I'd miss his sexy bod.

I love this.

I'm JUST like this. My mom is coming over to celebrate my birthday in a couple weeks and she wants to bring cupcakes. I told her that I'm dieting so not to do it. The real reason I don't want her to is because I know she's going to use the box stuff and canned frosting. I used to LOVE it, but since I've started making my own from scratch, I don't like it. I told James that I either want one from scratch or a store bought one with the delish frosting...or none at all. And seriously, for me to say none at all to cake is saying something!
