My first eggnog latte of the season is in my hand (well, not right now, but you get the gist) and yay! Although the prospect of Christmas coming up soon is sort of scary.
This weekend should be fun. Tomorrow I'm going to a GTG with some local Knotties that I've met up with a few times before, so that should be fun. Then, I've got a list of house project (and blog posts!) to work on. Derek is off for most of tonight and pretty much the rest of the weekend finishing up a big side job, so it'll be me, the cats and some tunes puttering around the house.

Oh thank goodness it's Friday. This week has felt so long and I am just exhausted. I've hardly slept all week due to stress at work and I have to find a way to get that under control soon. But either way, looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow.
Thanks to all for the well wishes yesterday - my appointment went fantastic and my tubes look completely clear! So I'm a little more optimistic about TTC and hoping that we'll get lucky in the next few months before moving on to some form of treatment.
Tomorrow will be busy - I have acupuncture, a golfing lesson and a swimming lesson. Might try to do some work on Sunday. And TV to catch up on as well.

Good morning! Nothing much going on this weekend. Tonight we have reservations at a Mexican place (our LivingSocial coupon is about to expire). First I'll be picking up Josh for a pumpkin ale, though, so that should be fun. Then it's gym, laundry, errands for the weekend. Josh is visiting his brother in Austin for part of next week, so I'm on my own for a few days after Sunday.
Yesterday was great, though: I signed up for my flextime, so that means I'll have every other Monday off soon. Yay! My first Monday off is November 28, which means I get a five-day weekend. Very awesome.

I am so glad its friday, but then again when I am I ever not excited for Friday?
This weekend should be nice. I have to go to walmart tonight to get some groceries and I am going to have Jordan get his stuff for the shoe boxes he is doing. He is diong one shoe box for a girl and one shoe box for a boy for christmas. Saturday we have a soccer game that morning and the rest of my day really needs to be spent getting ready for the next couple of weeks and cleaning. I would like to come into work for a few hours but It will all depend on if DH has to work or not. Sunday my BFF's little boy is having a birthday party at the local childrens museum. Before the party I am taking the kids for pictures. I am hoping DH has to work and I can go and get a little shopping done without him. They have a pair of boots on sale at bass pro shop he has been eyeing that I want to go get.
My week has felt very long as well. Come on 5:00, I'm ready for you!
Kyle's 30th birthday is today, so I'm planning a party for him tomorrow. Tonight we'll probably go out to dinner and grab some drinks. Tomorrow I'll be busy cooking side dishes up until party time. Then tomorrow night it's party time. We'll have quite a few friends and family attending. Then my mom will be spending the night with us so that she doesn't have to drive home.
Sunday will most likely be a lazy day around the house. I'm sure that I'll have laundry and housework to keep me busy. I'm also very excited for the time change. I hate getting up in complete darkness every day.

Happy Friday ladies! I didn't think it would ever get here.
So far it has been a crazy day at work, and I feel like I haven't gotten anything done. DH has to work a small shift tonight. Tomorrow I have a few errands to run, and pretty much the weekend will be spent cleaning, and cleaning out the boys room, and hopefully our room. Since the boys are starting to wander around upstairs in the morning while I'm getting ready for work, I need to childproof our bedroom.

I'm super excited about having lunch with some old coworkers from TxDOT. We are taking one of our friend's out for his birthday so it should be fun.
No major plans for the weekend though, just plenty of cleaning and homework.
Yay Friday! Today should be busy but I'm alright with that if it makes the day go by faster. Boss lady is taking us to a great Thai place for a working lunch so that will be nice.
Tonight we are going to a Shakey's night fundraiser for the school DH works at so we will have that for dinner. I like DH's co-workers so it should be fun.
Tomorrow we are going to a birthday party for our friend and her daughter. It's supposed to rain so I hope they have a covered area cause I'm not looking to get soaked. I'll probably go grocery shopping afterwards so I can just stay in on Sunday.
Sunday is football and cleaning the house day so I hope to just lounge around while doing laundry. Have a great weekend ladies!
DH and I slept in! It was lovely.
Now off to get my hair cut, then my interview, then to the casino for DH's company event! Busy day for a day off.
I've been nonstop all day, even though I took the day off. It was such a crazy week with all the power outage/snow nonsense. Plus, yesterday we had to bring Jackson to work with each of us for a bit, since daycare is still powerless. Today was the same, and I just didn't want to deal with a baby at work on a Friday when there was nothing going on anyways.
This weekend will be lots of tree cleanup and furniture moving to redo some rooms in the house. I feel like we're never just sitting still. Oh well. Keeps the metabolism going I suppose. I've lost a whopping 80 pounds since delivery day. I wish I looked that way, too, but the numbers keep me happy for now.
I'm waiting to find out if my stepdad is still coming for a visit this weekend, too, which could throw off our progress on everything else. My only mission for tonight is to get curtain rods hung back up in the bedrooms to put the new curtains up. I also need to hem some curtains that shrunk up funny in the wash.

I need a vacation. I am seriously b!tchy and overwhelmed right now and it isn't going to get better for a couple of weeks. Thanksgiving can't come soon enough--I am actually excited about spending a couple days with my in-laws here because it means I am not at work.
My kids were awful today, I got into a confrontation with a jackass at work, and I have a ton of work to do this weekend. Oh, and I have to go back to school to chaperone a dance tomorrow night. Next week I have a meeting until 7:30pm on Monday, meetings all day on Tuesday so I have to write sub plans, a board meeting at 7pm on Wednesday night that I have to present at, a half day of kids and meetings on Thursday, and a full day of in-service on Friday. I am already longing for next weekend and this one is just starting. And AF still hasn't showed up--if I am not going to be pregnant, I would at least like to move on to the next cycle.
On the bright side, I got in a good 4 mile run after school today.

Tristan - sorry things aren't going well lately. Hopefully your break will be here in no time.
Today wasn't too bad. I got up a 5am and ran 5.5 miles so that was a nice start to the date. We ended up having one pharmacist not show up for work at all. She said she had a funeral to go to but would come in after and never showed. I wish my manager was more on top of things. She was all 'maybe she said she wasn't coming in at all?'
I'm hoping to go look at some furniture with DH tonight. That is if he ever goes and freaking works out and has his shower. I don't want him to work out but I told him I wanted to do this an hour ago and he's still on the internet.
