WDMNT? Kids and Bikes related
So I am not normally home in the afternoons when the school down the street gets out. I was yesterday due to our alarm going off( long insane story). Anyways, it kind of shocked me the number of kids riding their bikes home from school without helmets. I know its a law in our state that they be worn under the age of 18, but that obviously wasn't the case yesterday. The kids were probably 12 or so.
I really think everyone should wear a helmet when riding a bike. But I have also know several people that have had severe TBI's due to bike accidents.
Thoughts?

Re: WDMNT? Kids and Bikes related
I guess I was more or less asking because I was shocked that the school allowed them to leave without helmets. This of course is assuming that the school knows they are biking to school, which more likely than not is not monitored.
Thankfully the little cuties on our street wear their helmets all the time! And with their cute little rain boots to boot!
