Saturday
Today we're getting all the final things we need for Avery, Trinity, and Langston's birthday party (which sounds so much better than memorial) which is tomorrow. We're having dinner, cake, doing a biodegradable balloon release (kites won't work with the weather and our trees) and maybe a bonfire.
Honestly this week has been hell. I've never been so glad for standardized tests as I was this week. There was no way I could have taught this week.
On the plus side we did get Myles' gotcha date so that's awesome.

Last night Ed and I went out to a nice dinner at a new place. It was a much needed date and put me in a better mood.
Today I need to get in a short run, go grocery shopping, and then chaperone a dance from 7-9 tonight.

The birthday party sounds good, MO. Myles will always know his brother and sisters are watching over him, and are part of your amazing family forever.
It's going to be sunny and cold today, but I'm getting a nasty chest cold and don't feel that great. Boo - I wanted a long hike outside. We'll see what develops.
We were supposed to get a load of aspen trees to cut and split, but our friend got the dates screwed up and the wood won't be ready until Monday. Well, Monday isn't good for us (obviously, and we had set aside all of today to do this), and I have a borrowed splitter and chainsaw in the garage right now. DH is not happy. Oh, well. We will figure something out.

We had a nice night last night. Had a dinner of baked camembert and empanadas, compliments of Whole Foods and just caught up on TV.
I had an acupuncture session earlier and now we're getting ready to head to our golfing lesson. Not sure yet what we're up to tonight, maybe dinner out and a movie. We'll see.

I hope the birthday party goes well and you feel comforted with your memories and the love of your family.
Today I'm sitting on the couch with a heating pad on my neck to help with some of my tension/pain. Hoping to get enough motivation to get out for a run today. Later tonight I'm going for dinner with some old work friends.
Tomorrow we have dinner for DH's grandma's 85th birthday. Hopefully during the day today or tomorrow we can go look at some furniture.

This week has been rather awful. Finding a job is so frustrating. I think a huge part of the reason I want to go back to school next September is that I just don't want to deal with looking for a job anymore. Once I have my diploma I can be a personal trainer and be self-employed.
Today we are going to get DH's hair cut, but other than that we don't really have plans. It was supposed to snow yesterday, it has yet to happen. I am not sure if I want it or not.
I am going to study for Spanish, watch TV and clean. There is a football game today but I think I rather sit at home.
MO the party sounds great. I hope it goes well. Carrotflower school rocks stay in it forever, haha. You will get job, vibes headed your way.

Today Gibson woke up and decided to quietly clean his room and keep Izaac entertained. I didn't even know they were awake ( I was still sleeping!).
Today is going to just be a cleaning day, working on folding laundry and washing walls. It's freezing outside so I may just sit around all weekend and bake some goodies. We'll see.
