Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community.   • Huh! and here I thought it was just about over-using our natural resources.

  • I show the Lorax (movie version) to my Grade 11 Biology students and make them interpret what the "meaning is" and what different "characters" in the movie represent.  I just skimmed, but I'll definitely put that aside to read later.

    ETA:  I never really saw the story as "anti-logging" as they are saying some people interpreted.  I saw the truffula tree as an analogy for any resource that could be overexploited.  Interesting.
