Does anyone use this site? I logged on quite awhile ago and formed a profile, but didn't take the time to figure out the boards, blogs, site in general. Plus, I find out a lot of information here that I need to know. I saw on fb that the editor/co-founder was fired on Friday, after being told on Thursday to change her writing; she responded on Thursday by creating her own blog and posting about it. So her boss fired her on Friday.
Maybe her new blog will turn into a site that is better than momaha.
Did any of you follow the momaha.com site? Thoughts on the site or this drama?

I have a friend who is very involved on the site and I saw her FB posts on Friday about everything that went down. According to the info from her, the OWH editor (Mike Reilly?) told this momaha founder that she could no longer write in the same way and that she was "too personal" in her writing - so she started her own blog for the personal elements, and he then fired her (without a conversation) for insubordination.
My friend was really incensed about it and has vowed not to go back to the site. I created a profile when it was first rolled out 2ish years ago but I don't go there regularly at all.
SL - that's pretty much the story I gathered reading through the posts on FB. I also visited her new blog.
Shannie - Veronica was fired. She's not one of the two on the radio (Heidi & Melissa I think). I agree they are hilarious! She was their boss, I believe.
Well, I just wondered how many of you ever checked out the site. I rarely did b/c it's blocked at work and I never really think of it in the evening. Should be interesting to see how this affects the site; it sounds like she had a pretty good following.
