As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Agreed.....
I can't even start thinking about Christmas until after Thanksgiving...too much Christmas talk for me....but I am just feeling like a scrooge.
I'm sure it's even terribly worse for you.....
Anything Johlise wants to talk about instead?

Oh, I think I totally read your post all wrong or made assumptions...not entirely sure where my brain went....but my brain has been fried since last weekend. I think I assumed that you were making a joke about it because it's been lots of Christmas talk and you don't really have any input. I don't really know.
That's why I asked if there was anything you wanted to talk about so we could have a non-christmas conversation. haha.
It's ok, I can totally see why you would think that though because I didn't indicate differently either.
As of right now I don't have anything better to discuss either..

Yah, me neither.....my life is boring right now.
I'm with you a little. It's hard not to especially with the mall I work at has already put up their Christmas tree/lights.
We should get more excited about Thanksgiving!

oh believe me. i'm so excited for turkey and cranberry sauce! can you believe last year was the first year i'd ever had cranberry sauce.. i used to never eat turkey and now i can't get enough. and stuffing, yum!!!!!

For me, Christmas decorations and lights are part of Thanksgiving! XD That's how I rationalize the fact my tree is already up. x.x (Judge away, dudes, judge away.)
But I am so excited about Thanksgiving. I have my preliminary menu planned and fine tuning it daily as I get bored and look up random recipes.

when we were younger, yes, my parents did it to "go through the motions" with us...when we got "old enough", my parents said if we wanted to to do a tree, we could, but we had to do it ourselves. my brother and i did it one year....and then never again. i was maybe about 7 or 8? that's why i love trees now....even though i'm not christian, i love how pretty christmas season is, and having a little bit of it in my home, i love it.
