what do you think of this? PIP
I have TONS of satin left over from our wedding (it draped the pews if that gives you an idea) and 5 canvas's that need a project on them so I came up with this one. I wanted to hang it in my living room for some texture on the bare walls and also to give the room a little vintage/feminine side. No? I was also just made aware that it will me a major dust catcher and hard to clean which i didn't think about but honestly, I feel like I change things up so frequently that it's not going to be on the wall for years collecting dust. Anyway, WDYT?

Re: what do you think of this? PIP
First of all, aren't you supposed to be heavily breathing having a baby right now?
It's just a canvas with fabric on it, ya know, some wall art! And it's not hung yet, just sitting on an ottoman against the wall it's probably going on.
It is nms, just because it is so romantic/feminine, and I like very clean/masculine stuff, but I think it's cool & I like the texture.
Yes, it will be a bit of a dust catcher, but if you're not going to have a stroke if you wind up having to toss it even, then no big. I think if you took it down & carefully vacuumed or shook it out you could keep the dust down.
I think it's hugely creative of you to have made it. I imagine it was labor intensive?!
Furthermore: I want to see a pic of these pews draped in satin. I cannot picture this.
oooooh! Pillows! Luxurious texture on your couch. me likey!
I like it for a more feminine look. I could see my dh not liking it.
Good idea on the pillow C!
Could you make a dress out of the fabric?
Not sure I like it as a wall hanging, but pillows I agree would be great!
Am I the only one that thinks it would make a super cool head board??
