Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Parent email funny....
I got this email from a parent....
"I read the instructions for the project. It says "You must have 3
resources, one of which cannot be the internet" Does that mean the kids
can't use the internet as a resource? Am I reading it
wrong?"
Umm...seriously, lady????? No wonder kids these days don't know how to read directions!!! WOW.
Too funny not to share though.

When I worked at the library we would have students running in all the time FREAKING out because a teacher said they had to use at least one non-internet resource. It always made me laugh a bit. If a parent sent me an email like that I would crack up too.
We had kids who didn't understand that looking up a book or journal in the online catalog to get the call number wasn't considered an internet resource.

We just had parent conferences... I'm full of stories, sigh....
