Question about getting my things?
I know I only posted once about all the crap with my husband. Here's a refresher and some recent details. He cheated on me, he left me, he came back since I can't afford rent, and now he has a girlfriend he brings over. I found out tonight about a TON of pictures with nude girls and guys and he STILL denies it. This has been going on much longer than I thought because the oldest photos is dated back in June.
I'm with my family ight now two hours away. I want to get my stuff. I know I can take my things (like clothes and whatnot), but what about things we bought together and things that were wedding gifts? I'd really like my dishes and towels (gifts) and the TV (bought when married).
We're not divorced yet, but I'm filing this week.

You two will have to discuss and talk about the items you acquired during the marriage, like the TV and wedding gifts. Just be sure that when your final divorce papers are drafted, verbiage that states what is currently in your possession is yours, free and clear from any claim from your STBXH, and vice versa.
Or, you could just be like my BF's XW and empty out the house while he's at work.
No way, I'm not that cruel even after all he's done to me. Plus I feel like it would come back to bite me. He did that to me back in September. Took everything but the couch, bed and kitchen table. Then he came back. Then it all went to hell.
