Naylon

How was the marathon?  Did your H meet his goal?

Re: Naylon

  • I think he's pretty pleased with how it went.  He was aiming for 3:30 but got 3:32 - which was a new personal best for him.  He did great.

Me, my Mom, my Aunt, my brother, my SIL, Janie and I were all there to see him at Mile 22.  I hope it gave him the boost he needed to finish strong.  He only got home from the City around 4:30 or so, ate, and went to bed around 6, LOL.

  • Congrats to Mr. Naylon!!  That's awesome.
  • Your husband is a rock star. I am glad you were able to see him. Hopefully he isn't sore tomorrow.

  • This is the picture he took while he passed us at mile 22.  The child with the exposed belly would be Jane.

  • Cute picture - I'm glad you decided to go.

Congrats to him too...the idea of running for 3 and a half hours straight makes me slightly ill.

That's an awesome time!  Does that qualify him for Boston?  It sounds pretty close.  Mile 22 was a great choice for you, that's when it really starts to get rough and I am sure that you all were a huge booster.  Congrats to him!!

I don't think so.  Boston is like 3:15 I think he said.  Insanity.

This made me LOL, and I completely agree!!! I would ride a bike for that long, but running? Hell to the naw!

Naylon, glad you were there to cheer your hubby on. He doesn't even look like he is ALMOST DONE WITH A MARATHON in that picture he took though. Geez, is he a robot or something???
