Sangria and friends.

I had a pitcher of sangria yesterday with a friend and during our drunken conversation somehow it came out that I don't have pierced ears but have often thought about doing it.  The next thing you know, she is dragging me through an outlet mall to a Claire's and now I have pierced ears :)

It feels weird to have a piece of metal through my ears.  But in 6 weeks I will be able to wear pretty jewelry!  Now my husband knows what to get me for Christmas!

Anyway, I love sangria and friends - fun things usually happen when you mix the two!

LOL!  A word of warning though, sangria and padded electric bills don't mix so well.

  • lol awesome!! I love it :)

  • Haha, nice!

When I got my ears pierced I was impatient to wear fun, dangly, heavy earrings. My advice is to be gentle and wear studs until your ears feel TOTALLY healed. Otherwise your ears will ache for ages. Of course, I was 13 years old, you are probably smart enough to know that on your own :P

  • That is hilarious!!!

I don't wear them myself, I have a peanut head so when I wear them I look like a peanut w/ear rings LOL!

  • ooh I love Sangria wine. :)

Yay for pierced ears.  I've had mine since I was like 8.  I feel naked without earrings in these days.

  • Haha sounds like a fun time! I bet you did not expect that to happen - life is full of surprises!

My parents had my ears pierced as a baby, but unfort they are kinda messed up (not exactly even on both sides), so to fix them in like 5th grade or so I got my ears pierced 2 more times. Now I just have three unevenly spaced ear piercings in each ear since the old ones never healed, haha. I don't care though - I usually wear one pair of earrings at a time. Dangly and sparkly are my favorite!

We're headed to the Maldives on Christmas Eve!

  • Love it! And I totally commend your choice... at 19 I had a drunken afternoon with a friend and ended up with a tattoo.

  • You're to funny!

    Love Sangria!

A friend and I almost drunkenly got tattoos about a month ago. I didn't get it because I thought H would be pissed at me. When he got home from his business trip I told him about it and he thought that would have been very cool. Now I may get one, but I need to find a great design that I'll love forever - so glad I didn't get one drunk - I dread what I would have had done.
