What are some of the things you are doing for Christmas gifts? I'm majorly slacking in the gift department this year and would love some ideas.
So far for little cousins C and K I have books with play-mats and little figurines.
For baby J I have a pop out froggy book and I'm going to make a no-sew fleece blanket.
For Cousin's step kids, I'm thinking some fun nail stuff for Miss B and a no-sew blanket. For Mr J, a no-sew fleece blanket and some hot wheels stuff.
Other than that I'm seriously stuck.
Dad's family I'm thinking some dish towel angels and some homemade jams and jellies.

Re: Holiday Gift Ideas
I might do some fancy ceramic tile coasters. Like you did last year.
There are some interesting ones on Pinterest that I am looking into.
Otherwise they are getting gift cards to starbucks. I am kind of lame, I know. But at least I know that everyone in my family loves starbucks and will use the gift. My family can be picky and I don't enjoy spending hours of making something and having it tossed to the side.
At least with the coasters, they wont take long and if they don't like it, it wont matter. I won't be emotionally invested. LOL.
Pretty much every woman on my gift list is getting a Fresh Sugar Lust gift set from Sephora this year. Nephew will get a Kindle, H and I are getting one another a long weekend in Napa this Spring, and the kids are getting gobs of books plus a handful of toys. No clue on gifts for the parents yet.

Check out my makeup and reading blog:
Books and Beauty
My sis and FBIL love to bake and cook, respectively, so we're getting her cake decorating supplies and him some good quality kitchen utensils, and maybe a cookbook each.
BIL is getting a piece of framed art done by an artist that works on/with his favorite video game.
All of the parents are getting customized calendars with pictures of S and the respective families as part of their gifts.
My mom will get an autorgraphed book from her favorite author, some choclates and maybe a bottle of Scotch.
I'm at a loss for the ILs (since I didn't get around to the stitching on the napkins and handkerchiefs I bought) and my dad though, and I NEVER know what to get C, especially since this year he has already pre-ordered and paid for all of the video games he wants. Maybe a nice shaving kit with travel bag for him to keep in his gym bag.
S is getting 2 toys, a set of DVDs and a sock monkey, and probably a pair of PJs
We're way behind the gift curve. I think we're getting X-box live for M's siblings, and I have no idea what for his parents.
I'm getting H a fountain pen, some aircraft-themed posters for his man-cave, a video game, and probably a couple of books from his wishlist.
I think we're going to get my sister started on collecting seasons of a tv show she likes, and I have no idea what for my brother and parents. Probably some sort of military book for my dad. I'm a terribly uncreative (is that a word?) gift-giver.
H is getting new Skullycandy headphones, basketball sneakers and UT floor mats for his car. He wants some other things that he can take on his deployment, but he hasn't told me those things yet. He hasn't mentioned getting SIL or MIL gifts, but we'll see how that goes.
My dad is getting a photo book and some Philadelphia Eagles gear. Might split the new Star Wards DVD set with my sister, too. My mom...jury's out on my mom. I usually get her a customized 2 lb. box of See's chocolates, but I really don''t know what to get her besides that. I usually struggle with her gifts every year.
I ordered Aladdin on DVD for my sister, and I'm looking for her some speakers for her Mac and some decorative things for her apartment. Might make her a couple of things to put up in her place.
DS' birthday is a few weeks before Christmas, so we're trying to figure out what to give him for each holiday. So far, he's gotten a Leap Pad, art desk, cartridges for his VTech VReader, some new books, and I'm going to order more Elmo's World DVDs. I think there's a couple more things I'll get him before he's all finished.
This year, we are going to the Erzgebirge region of Germany and getting people either a Smoking Man or the Christmas Candle Pyramids. Last year, it was Beer Steins.
But we also give some folks snack/wine baskets to eat and drink. My parents and grandmother especially, they do not want extra tchotckes.
We have a few ideas for MIL as she is pretty easy to shop for. We're thinking either luggage, a few new pots and pans, or some crystal glasses.
SFIL will get something to do with coffee. Either some flavored syrups and good coffee beans or a Sbux GC
FIL and SFIL- M wants to get them a TV if we can get one on Black Friday but I doubt that will happen so they will probably get a restaurant GC and we'll offer to babysit their 4 kids while they go eat.
I got my mom a jacket from the Kendall Jackson winery when we were in Sonoma and homemade vanilla and good coffee.
My dad is difficult to buy for so he'll probably get some kind of clothes.
My brother will get a GC probably as he is in grad school and could put it to good use.
Grandparents get homemade treats.
22yr old SIL will get earrings from etsy and a scarf from Zara
M's dad re-married to a much younger (18years!) woman and they have 4 kids:
12yr old SIL is flying down to stay with us for a week by herself so she will get some one-on-one girl time and big brother time
7yr old BIL and 5yr old BIL will get puzzles/games/books/pj's or something like that.
5mo old SIL will get baby clothes.
And I am getting M golf balls, a towel, tee's and new shoes. My parents are getting him cedar planks for the grill, a pizza stone, and other grill accessories.
All of our family is getting C's newborn photos framed, upon request. FIL & SMIL will get something KU related, probably a Christmas ornament.
My parents we'll add a resaurant gc.
C's mom we'll add a gc to her fave craft/sewing store.
My sis- gc to Motherhood! She's pg again!! Despite all medical odds--no drugs this time. We feel sooo blessed after all her hardship. I'll also get baby a onesie that says "fearfully and wonderfully made."
Niece will get Elmo and Clifford books.
My side of the family does like gift swaps. I think this year we are doing a board game theme. I have no idea what DH wants or what I will give him yet... Not sure about his side of the family, we will probably send them gift cards?
The only other thing I am doing is I made some monster "piggy" banks for my niece and nephews at the pottery studio. I learned how to throw enclosed shapes, and got the idea from another studio member.
I changed my name

Sorry ma'am. We don't have a cake batter candle. We do, however, have Vanilla Cupcake, Christmas Cupcake and Christmas Cookie. Would you like to come smell those and decide which one is right for you?
Customers make up scents all the time lol. I'm partial to the fruity ones myself.

I wish! I'm running an event here and I'm bitter about it for various reasons. Part of me wants to call in sick that day, stay home and drown my sorrows in wine.
