Silly DH- broken glass everywhere
I think I've got it picked up now, and sufficiently vacuumed, but I'm still super worried about Elliot's little paws picking it up while we're not home to help.
Working on the furniture today I had the mirror out of the frame. I moved the mirror sufficiently out of the way. Not realizing that, DH started to move the mirror too, and broke a big chunk off. I just said "That's ok, I'll watch Hobby Lobby for sales and we'll get a new mirror." Still feeling frustrated, he picked up a crate to move it out of the way....the crate the mirror was leaning on. Before "Hon, stop" was out of my mouth the mirror fell over and what was left broke into a hundred pieces. He got frustrated so, like a little child, threw the crate down. The crate containing my picture frames.
I have NEVER yelled at my DH so loudly..."LOOK WHAT YOU JUST FVCKING DID!!! ALL BECAUSE YOU CAN'T KEEP YOUR COOL...." on and on. We picked up the glass in silence, I vacuumed. Upon closer inspection, only one frame got broken.
Five minutes after we were finished cleaning, he came in, gave me a hug, and quoted a funny Family Guy line. <--- the typical way we let anger go.
*sigh* men.

If the glass broke on a hard surface, wet paper towel does wonders to pick up tiny shards of glass. I know this due to being clumsy.
