Do we have any insurance ladies on here?
I thought we did but I can't remember for sure.
I need some help for DH. He has a small business and I want to double check the rate he is paying each month for insurance for his work truck and the general liability policy ($1 million policy). Is there a site where I can get a bunch of different quotes?

My husband does the same thing. And then accuses me of delaying the process because I insist on getting multiple quotes.

Well, as long as you're using an independent agent (access to many markets and carriers) and not a captive agent (State Farm or All State basically), that agent should be able to compare rates between the different markets with which they're appointed.
And just from my experience the last year, the bigger than agency you use the better. The bigger the agency is the more likely they are to have access to the most competitive carriers.
For commercial insurance, her H would have to go through an agent anyway. Unfortunately it's not like calling Geico for car insurance - although I wish it were that easy! But then I wouldn't have a job so maybe not.
I am going to assume that he is an independent agent but I am not totall sure. I know that he is not connected to State Farm or a big name like that. Guess I will be getting the current agents information and contacting him to see about getting additional quotes.
