Need recs for: Birthday Dinner, Cleaning Lady in Alexandria area
I thought I would combine two recommendation-needed posts into one 
We had to let our cleaning lady go recently. I think she is having health issues and she was not doing a good job at ALL anymore. Then, she started randomly no-showing and showing up on different days and banging on the door until I answered it, wanting to clean (wanting money, I think?). It made me very uncomfortable and I thought that I addressed it with her, when one day I walked in after work to find her cleaning the kitchen. DH had inadvertently left the door unlocked and she just walked right in and got to work. That was the last straw for me.. anyway, I am hoping to find someone else who is trustworthy, reasonably priced, and I would rather use an individual over a service.
Also, any recommendations for a nice birthday dinner? I need to pick a place to go with just me and DH, and probably another place for both of us with my parents. I am pregnant and start to get so-sleepy-I-look-drugged at about 8pm every night, so probably not somewhere too crazy, but I'd rather go into DC and try somewhere new or special since it is my birthday after all! I just can't for the life of me think of anything that sounds appealing. Italian has been sitting well with me lately, but I've already done Carmine's and Filomena pretty recently... steak has not been sitting so well.. I really have no ideas!

i'm no help on the cleaning lady part but here are some b-day recs:
for italian & with your parents, i'd probably do acqua al 2 (in eastern market). you can order samplers of pastas. if anything isn't your cup of tea, you're only missing out on a few bites. also, more boisterous than romantic so good for a group. i seriously hate eggplant except for their eggplant ragu which is so, so good.

i'd definitely look at the menus online to see what appeals to your palate most. they all have a lot of options.
