So, we are thinking about telling someone to get Austin the Cars version for Christmas. Obviously there are all different kinds that you can buy, and I always see them at consignment sales, so if she's buys him this one set, can I buy more at sales and add to this one to make it bigger? Or are all the tracks and cars different? Is Austin too young at age 2 for them? Should we wait til next Christmas? TIA!
Re: Explain geotrax to me...
From what I could tell at my friends place you can add diff tracks to one another perhaps I am wrong so I hope someone with it chimes in.
They are on DS list this year as well. I love the remote and both boys could work them so A would be fine.
Yes, you can add different sets and more tracks. Robyn has a ton, she'll know more!
2 isn't too young either. Evan got some for his birthday. Personally, I dont' like them b/c the trains don't stay on the tracks for shyt but we get them out once in awhile. I'd rather have a train table if I had a choice or the space (which we DO NOT have).
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
We are getting a train table, and that's one of the reasons why I don't know if we really NEED this (well of course we don't NEED it, but ya know!
). I get really stressed just looking at the huge bags of 100's of pieces at the sales, but I'm sure he would like them? I don't know. Christmas is really hard at this age. Especially knowing that he plays with very little of the obscene amounts of toys that he already has.
