What are you getting DC for the holidays this year?
Im looking to get:
An easel

Little people stand n play wheelie rampway
Tool set

Aqua doodle

Basketball hoop

Plus some new books, def one about the potty, playdoh. I already picked up some matchbox cars, color wonder, balls, stocking stuff. I need some more ideas for 2 year olds.
Re: Moms: Holiday Gifts
Aldi has tbe Step 2 Easel for two for 29.99. So we got that for DD yesterday. They also have mega blocks 80 piece set for 13.99... so she got that as well. She also got a pillow pet and now an anywhere chair. That's pretty much all the 'big' presents she will get. My MIL has has already gotten her a bunch of things for Christmas and the house is getting FULL. Santa will probably also buy her a potty and smaller stocking stuffers... I want to get her a little photo album of pictures ...maybe her own broom set to 'help' clean. DH is also making her a 'learning tower'. I'm not sure if you've seen those before... They go against the counters so they can climb up and see what your doing or help.

DH had bought one... traced the boards and returned it and now is building one himself.
A got that basketball hoop for his bday and he loves it! And my mil has the lil people ramp at her house which he always plays with.
This year he will be getting puzzles, books, art stuff, etc. Id like to keep toys to a minimum since he got a lot for his bday in August. But we'll see as it gets closer to xmas.
Id also like DH to paint a chalk board wall in his play room!
LB is getting a small kitchen & food to go with it, the gas pump for her cozy coupe, little people zoo, books, peg puzzles, baby einstien video or two, stage 2 table and chairs, crayola stuff, and possible one of those little motorized quads. MIL wants to get her an anywhere chair and my parents are getting LB and the new little one a radio flyer wagon that is two seater.. one of the seats is an infant reclining seat.
LB's stocking is 3 feet long (thanks mom & dad) so I am still working on that!
Even though T will only be 9 months we are sooo excited for her first Christmas. So far I've gotten her some board books for her stocking and we picked out a little people ride on toy for her. I was thinking of getting her an anywhere chair but I think we might wait for her first bday in March.
I also plan on getting her some bath toys, some clothes and some more books. My mom is getting her her first cabbage patch doll.
Get the leapfrog fridge farm! Ava's been playing with it for three years and Sam loves it now too! It's under $20 and is the most used toy in our house.
We have the car speedway thing and my girls love it- and so does every kid who comes to a playdate
Ava got a tee ball set when she was two. And it's usable inside in the winter too
DD is mostly into music and dressup right now so that's mainly what she's getting. we got her a snow white dressup set (aka, sale halloween costume) and the snow white video. my sister is getting her a set of dressup shoes, which will be too big but hell, now she wears my shoes. as for music- a toy acoustic guitar and a toy trumpet. (anytime music is on the radio or tv she looks for her instruments to copy and she doesnt have either of those.) and i think my mom is getting her the Elmo Rocks toy with guitar since she is also into Sesame Street. oh and there is this v-tech karaoke toy that one of her friends has which she loves. as for educational i would like to get the Leap Frog Tag Jr reader set. it's like a wand the kid waves over the page and it reads books to them. (compatable books of course.) and im actually thinking of getting her the leap pad too. it says ages 5 and up- but if she can work my ipod im thinking she might be able to figure this out. other than that a bike helmet (she must have learned from tv this was neccessary and she wont ride her tricycle without MY helmet on.) maybe tools, she loves her boy cousins.
that's a lot right? i know it sounds crazy, i actually made her an amazon wish list. my parents and siblings like to shop early and were asking what they could get her, so all that is on the list. so basically some will be from them, some from us, something from santa.
and ditto the leapfrog fridge farm. we have 3 leap frog fridge toys and she plays with them all the time. the letters one actually also teaches them the sounds of all the letters. it's nice to have this in the kitchen. she will play with it when im cooking. (for the same reason we also keep our easel/art desk in the kitchen.)
I have to set up the amazon lists and toys r us for the family who doesn't do computers (yes we still have those! lol).

we aren't going crazy this year.

some winter clothes
some bowls/pacis ect.

This is A's "Santa" list (mind you, both of our families are buying off of this list)

also our front door- if you dont have wood. kinda annoying that they are on there sometimes, but it's magnetic too. another thing to check.
Mini's list is getting longer as we receive more catalogs in the mail. We have to do a better job of intercepting the mail.
So far she is asking Santa for:
Barbie printable hair extension kit
Barbie Princess Charm School Doll
Crayola Crayon Maker
Crayola Glow Dome
Crayola Glow Book
Play Doh Ice Cream Shop
Monster High Dolls
Monster High game for DS
A Fijit
MH and I are buying her gifts from us this year. These are surprises:
An engraved jewelry box
A real gold necklace with her initial on it or something or maybe a locket
An ipod touch
I was thinking of getting K a bed and bedding for christmas since our families spoil her with toys, and we are going to need her crib.
we also are getting her stuff for her disney movie collection - dumbo and the little mermaid. and probably some stocking stuffers (books, snacks, etc)
I don't actually know for sure.
However, they're at the age (especially Connor) that when he sees something on TV he says "mommy I need that" and Paige says "NO! MINE!"
I do want to get him "big boy toys" -- some games for 3+ and older type puzzles -
he has a zillion cars and trains but i'm sure he'll get more thomas stuff too.
For Paige - dress up stuff (shoes, outfits) and not sure what else yet
A does the same exact thing! Every commercial that comes on he says "Mommy, can I have that?"
