What's up with the Monday post?

It's almost 9am here in Cali, about lunch time for most of ya, but I'll start the Monday post.

Weekend was nice.  Saturday we took the Honda to get the O2 sensor replaced.  Car was supposed to be ready at noon...wasn't ready until 3 pm.  Then we had to drive it for 50 miles before we could take it to get smogged.  Luckily Rich got to the smog testing center at 4:00 pm, just an hour before they closed.  It passed smog.  Now we should be getting our tags.  Bad thing is that the reg expired in May.  I paid the fees but we were waiting for it to pass smog, and in order for it to pass smog the O2 sensor had to get replaced.  That night we had a dinner for my aunt and uncle who came up from Tijuana for gma's funeral.  It was nice.  Gpa was watching boxing.  He's still as alert as can be.

I wish I could say Sunday was our lazy day but it was not.  After I had my PSL, I was wired to say the least.  We cleaned house, did about 7 loads of laundry and put our Halloween stuff away.  Then we watched the Raiders lose to the Bronco's.  Misty, you're allowed to gloat.  My stupid co-worker who is not even a football was making fun of the Raiders losing yesterday.  I got really offended by it.  Mostly because he's not even a football fan, so he doesn't know what the hell he was talking about.  He was already on my sh!t list, and is now on it even more.

Re: What's up with the Monday post?

  • Apparently everyone is having a busy Monday. I'll join in for a quick post, but I'll have to add more when I get home from school later. Got to meet up with Dats for the baby expo, that was probably the highlight of the weekend. :) alsio made apple bread and listened to hubby complain of a sorethroat. *sigh*

  • Yeah, I'm super busy and super exhausted and still a bit sick.

I am also freaking out about whether I should take childbirth classes from 03/06 - 04/03 or from 04/15 - 05/06. Baby is due 05/31. The last one is too close, right? But will I remember everything from the first one if it's so far away. AHHHHHH!

(Yes, I realize that I'm freaking out over nothing, but I'm letting myself have this mini freakout for theraputic reasons)

    Woke up. Still queen.
  • QofA - I think you might be more comfortable taking the earlier one.  I'm sure you won't forget, and they will probably give you materials you can read and refresh your memory if needed.  You probably won't give birth three weeks early, so the later class would be fine, but I'll bet you won't feel like worrying about childbirth class at that point.

Take my advice with a grain of salt, though, since I know jack schit about this.
