DH is going to S. Korea for a week, and I would like to send with him a gift to a lovely woman who is the wife of one of DH's collegues when we were there. It is very appropriate to get something that represents the country you live in. Yet, I can't think of a damn thing. Any ideas?
Re: a gift from England
What's Hotel Chocolat? Never heard of it? You are just up the motorway from me. Is it Leeds based?
Do you just get it a Sainsbury's?
I know they have a store in the mall in Newcastle, so I would imagine they have stores all over. It is really good.
The have their own shop. Their website says they have it at John Lewis stores too.

I third Hotel Chocolat - very nice chocolate.
What about something like a gift set from M&S? They have nice chocolate too, and lots of gift sets this time of the year. Plus, M&S is a quintessentially British brand, so that might be a good thing?
Oh, I am in Derbyshire, so its all Thorton's Chocolate here. I have been in M&S several times and I just cannot decide.
Thornton's is good, too. My H always buys the Thornton's moments for his team at work. I'd go for that if I were you.
