I'm posting this on the Toddlers board as well, but I figured I'd ask you ladies since some are approaching the stage or been there done that. There's a million training potties out there. Any recs on them or resources? Reese is showing interest. TIA!

Re: Potty Training Recs
I asked here, but ended up going with what I felt best with. I wanted something that resembled a toilet, but I hate the singing one.
We bought this one
last Christmas and Alex has been sitting on it occasionally ever since. Some days she can go hours without an accident, some days she'll pee on the floor 3 times in 10 minutes. We found, for us, she does better naked than with training pants or underpants, although she has both. We didn't put the toilet paper or wipes in it since that would just be asking for trouble, but I like that it's her size, rather than just the seat so she can go in and use it without help. She's done that a few times and it's great.
We got a cheapy potty ring that sits right on our toilet and Neena loves it.
ETA: As for tips, I don't really have any. We're just following Neena's lead. We aren't doing anything intense. She likes to use the potty and we've been successful with pooping but she hasn't peed on the potty yet. She's still waking up wet in the mornings, so that an indication to me that she's not quite ready to be fully trained.
