Re: Smart phone recs
I love my iPhone. It was my first step into the smartphone world, and each day I find ways to love it more...I kid you not.
DH just got one on Friday, so now we can play Words with Friends together etc.
It is logical and easy to use...I have a MacBook Pro as well, so it seemed like a no-brainer to me. If you are already an Apple family, definately go for it. I was pretty attached to my iPod so I wanted something I could seamlessly transfer everything to.
I saw this Groupon for Lincoln yesterday, and whild I'm a little hesitant to do it, it could be a good deal - $25 - for a Droid phone and $25 worth of phone accessories from Tranzmobile (an authorized online agent for Verizon)...

DUH.... Verizon.
Just my 2 cents. I would not do this.
Just get the new iPhone 4s. I'm a new convert from a blackberry smartphone and I can easily say you won't be disappointed.
I was anti-iPhone/Mac/Apple everything, I figured how great can it be. It's great, just do it. And get the insurance.
thanks to jennied
If you do this, look into getting the insurance via Best Buy as they are now authorized to provide insurance on the iPhone even if you don't get it there. This is what I did. They will cover more then the Verizon insurance will, like water damage. I don't think they charge a deductable either to replace, or if they do, it's very little and you get a brand new phone, not a refurb like Verizon will give you.
