baby clothing size question
DD is going to be 3 months at Christmas-- should I find 0-3 dresses or 3-6 dresses for her for the holidays? It's so hard to know what she'll fit into. My guess is with a dress, she could get away with a 0-3 since you don't have to worry about length.

It depends. How big was she when she was born? How big is she now? You're the one who knows your kid best. Some kids will fit the 0 to 3 clothes for a while and some practically come out of the womb ready for the 3 to 6 month size.
Helen was born at 6 lb. 2 oz. and had a little trouble gaining weight in the first couple of weeks. She wore newborn size clothes for 2 months, then size 0 to 3 for two months (so up to 4 months old). She has always grown out of the length way before growing out of the weight guidelines.
My LO is the same way. She is a peanut, at 5 months we are just now growing out of 0-3 stuff. How big is your baby? I would go with 0-3, or just wait a month or so and see what size she is.
She just got weighed today at the lactation center and she's 9lbs even at almost 7 weeks old... I have a feeling she'll still be in 0-3 for a bit- at least dresses since it doesn't really matter for length as much. The 0-3 clothes still look really big!
