WTF? Missing toddler

Did you guys see this story? (Sorry, no clicky)

http://abcnews.go.com/US/bellevue-washington-toddler-missing-mom-leaves-car-unattended/story?id=14896605#.Trg_Dc2_B0c

What's with the "no signs of forced entry?" Ummm....chick left the car unlocked! Why would there be any signs of that?

Re: WTF? Missing toddler

  • There are all kinds of ??? all over this story.  Apparently both parents had been cited previously for leaving the child/children unattended.  My child is 2.  There is no way on G-d's green earth or any other planet for that matter that I would leave her alone in the car.  I cannot even fathom this.

ETA: Eff it, I don't care how old my child is, I'd never leave her alone in an unattended car.

  • I agree. This whole thing is a mess. Besides being insanely dangerous, imagine how scared he must have been. I cannot wrap my head around the fact that she didn't take him with her. I'd like to know what the 4 yr old is saying, because I'm wondering if he was even in the car to begin with, or if this is a cover up.

  • Why the heck would you take your 4 year old and not your 2 year old?  I can't even begin to imagine what she was thinking.
