Poll: Your favorite pie?
I think I am going to be brave this year, and try to make a caramel apple pie for Thanksgiving.
Does anybody here have a easy pie crust recipe?

I made a few years ago. But my DH hates pie so I just made cake, muffins or cupcakes. This year I am going to make one even if I have to eat all of it myself.

I don't like baking and I rarely eat dessert.
My favorite is apple.
I do have a pie crust recipe, I just have to dig it out of my notebook. I'll come back and post it.

If I make crust from scratch, which is rare, I use the recipe in the Better Homes & Gardens plaid cookbook.
It's hard to pick a favorite pie -- I really like apple, pecan, chess, and a recent addition, buttermilk, ohh, and custard.
I actually have that cookbook here. I am going to take a look tonight.

My favorite homemade pie is apple, but store bought is peach pie.

Hahaha! Just looked in my notebook and compared recipes. I never had much luck with the double crust pie recipe in the BHG cookbook. I've been using the Oil Pastry recipe from that book and just doubling it.
I had to put my BHG cookbook away - it's old and the pages are falling out.
I use already made crusts, so I'm of no help. My favorite pie is Chocolate Mousse pie!

Favorite to eat is pumpkin but I rarely eat the crusts--not a pie crust fan. I do love cobblers and apple crisp though.

I cannot begin to imagine not liking pies! I am a total pie fan!
My favorites are apple, pumpkin, blueberry, peach.
I use Martha Stewart's Pate Brisee recipe. It is the only recipe I've found that results in a dough that is rollable without breaking too much. I feel like a failure because my mom made the best pie crust, and I could never, never replicate her crust. So, Martha is good to me.
My favorite pie is definitely pumpkin, but I like most pies.

Pumpkin pie, peanut butter pie, and chocolate pudding pie with graham cracker crust.
Sorry, I'm no help with a recipe as I use a box mix.
